Back in February, my local modular synth community (CMSS) hosted a no-kick challenge. The goal was to make a techno track without using a dedicated kick drum module. I’ve been trimming down my modular setup, so not having a kick module was no problem. I used the Manniquins W/ module is FM synth mode to approximate a kick drum. Teletype sequences everything else. Techno-ish music was made :)
